Landslide is the most common type of geological disaster in China, with its easy and frequent occurrence characteristics, posing a serious threat to the safety of people’s lives and property. The stability evaluation of landslides is the most crucial task in landslide disaster prevention and reduction work. Due to the fuzziness of landslide inducing factors, a certain accumulation layer landslide in Xinpu Town, Mianxian County is taken as an example in this article. Based on the analysis of geological environmental conditions, fuzzy mathematics method is considered for landslide stability evaluation, and the concept of "entropy" in thermodynamics is introduced, the entropy weight method is used to determine the weight of landslide inducing factors, and a new fuzzy mathematics landslide stability evaluation method improved on the entropy weight method is proposed, The results show that the newly proposed fuzzy mathematical landslide stability evaluation method based on the entropy weight method overcomes the drawbacks of the traditional fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method of subjectively judging the weight of landslide impact factors. The quantitative analysis and verification of landslide stability by numerical simulation method found that the evaluation conclusions of the two methods were in good agreement, indicating that the proposed new method has a certain degree of reliability. The improved fuzzy mathematics landslide stability evaluation method based on entropy weight method is more fast, and simple. It is very suitable for landslide disaster prevention and reduction work in emergency situations such as rapid warning of impending disasters and emergency rescue.
